Update to driving my S14 daily

Good afternoonn,

today I write way earlier than usual. Im so excited to share a new idea of mine, but for now i'll just give a quick update on my S14 and how she is doing as a daily driver.

For about a month or a bit longer, I drove her everyday, which included the way to work. I wanted to see how she feels, how she drives on the road, how she responds and simply: if everything is alright.
After a few little problems that were sorted quickly (due parking her up for a long time) she is in her best form.
It is so much fun to drive her! It makes me so happy and I simply enjoyed it so far. I spend now more money on petrol but surprisingly it isn't that much more, I thought it would be worse, so I'm happy out :)
I now drive to work my 'normal' daily driver, which happens to be a fantastic, small lil Ford Fiesta. Such a good car!
That means for now Nessy will be only driven on the weekends to simply not put too many kilometres on her and also to save a bit on petrol, in order to get more car parts.
I came across a few awesome s-bodies lately and one inspired me the most. I don't want to give too much away but the thing is, that I have so many plans already and I simply don't know where to start haha. Maybe I should finish the necessary basics so I can pass NCT first haha.
So for now my daily driver will be driven to work and back and on the weekends  you either see me driving in the S14 or just lying under it :)

And to my new idea (that i was so excited about in the begin of this post) I will come shortly if not tomorrow already! :)

Stay tuned folks,

Cornelia

IDC- my personal aftermath

A bit over a week ago, IDC or the Irish Drift Championship stepped up the game big time!
The media is still buzzing over it and I simply name two names now: Daigo Saito and Matt Powers.
Among those two world best drifters, many other joined the GlobalWarFare to try beat the Irish on their home soil.
And as expected the Irish won and defeated the title for 10 years now.

I've never been so excited to go to an IDC round. The level of driving was insane and i've never seen so many serious damages caused by a wall.
No wonder if you enter with 80mpH....

The boys showed serious skills and besides that fantastic driving it was amazing to walk amongst the pits to meet drivers you normally admire on TV.

I've a few pics here but please also check out IDC's Facebook page and all the media sites for more pictures and aftermaths :)
I'm definitely impressed and hope IDC pull off something similar soon!

one of my favorites! Martin's PS13 from Low Brain Drifter

This car competed but could have been a show car as well! We were talking to the owner/builder. The love for the detail is unreal and a true inspiration.

One of the walls victims

Was gutted to see the car in this state :(

Picture of the day

Have a look at this snapshot!

Thats right...a friend of mine with his super cool new phone, made this picture while being in the unit yesterday. I almost missed that moment being busy inside.

But here we go :)
