she's alive!

Yesterday was a good (and long) day in the unit again.
After I collected everything I needed (still more stuff to get) and did what I wanted to do, I put back together a few parts, to start her up again. (big thanks to my other half)

So after 9 months I finally heard her lovely roaring again!
YAAAAY

I was so happy (and very unpatient), it took as a good while to jump start the oul, dead battery.

My 3-months plan will end this month, a bit of work is left to do.

Tomorrow she will get a gooooood clean/wash and polish so that she looks like a nice car again. All the dust and dirt from the last track day are still on her :O

But this will change and hopefully I can provide you with a few nice pics tomorrow!

I also cant wait to present you my list and archievment at the end of the month (regarding the 3 month plan).

When do I finally learn to get patient.....

About Nessy's history

Recently I found out (thanks to Declan!!), who owned my S14 in Ireland before me. I can basically recall now who the owners were and what happened to the car.
I always thought she came with her original SR20DET engine but I was wrong.
Appreantly she arrived in Ireland with some very nice spec and was simply a monster.

All of the spec was taken of her and a standard engine was put in.
That makes me a little bit sad to be honest...ah well...

I also got this picture, thats how she arrived coming from Japan. She was in the 88 Drift team :

I love the picture, pretty cool right?

Lets see how she looks like when I'm finished with her!

bolts and nuts replacement

I really love the idea to replace all the bolts and nuts on the car.

I'm currently looking into possibilites and try to figure out what the best way would be!

At some point I also want to rebuild the engine (not this year though), so either I do the replacement now or when the rebuild will be done.

Decisions, decisions....

Here a few more pics finally!

Love doing the before and after pics and as I was bored I tried to clean the engine bay and the front a lil bit.
Also new goodies and a nice snapshot during the sunset...loved the light :)

3 months plan

It's been a while since I last posted. But nothing is going on really.
I get stuff almost every month for the car and dream about having my S14 back on the road.
I come across so many ideas and visions in my head, that I never seem to be able to finally decide for what design/look/power I'm going for.

Especially after Gatebil!
Yeah....thats right, I was in Norway for the coolest car festival ever!
So many crazy cars and projects over there!
After the spin in a 600+ Mustang (that sound!!!) I want more power too ha. It was amazing to be in a drift train with the Forumla D driver Voughn Gittin JR. Man i still cant believe how lucky I was!
The car I was sitting in was driven by a Saudi Arabian guy :)

But last weekend I once more spent loads of time in the unit to think about what I'm going to do (besides cleaning up and talking to my baby haha)

I've came up with something new and decided following:
Every 3 months, I'm going to set a few goals for the car and I also try to archieve them.
That worked best for me last year when I set myself goals for my drifting proccess.
Not too much pressure and still time to get stuff done.

So my new 3 months-plan focuses only on the engine and engine bay.
I'm gonig to tidy it up, replace parts, clean shit up and see what else is needed. The engine bay itself needs no respray as she is still very clean and mint, so I'll focus on the engine and all the parts an wires now.
I already started to take more parts off to see where what is located and that I can say to 100%: I know every single bolt in my car.

Anyway, the next 3 months you will hopefully read more here and lets see how it goes :)
